Privacy Policy

Effective 2026-05-25.

I'm Rotem Sivan — jazz guitarist + teacher running this site. This policy is short on purpose. If anything here is unclear, email rotem@rotemsivan.com and I'll explain.

What I collect

• Your email (and optionally first name) when you opt into a free guide.
• Page-view + click events on this site (which lander, which CTA, UTM parameters from the link you clicked) — used to figure out which content is actually helpful.
• Basic request metadata: IP address, browser user-agent, referring URL — standard web log data, used for bot detection and analytics aggregates.

What I do with it

• Send you the free guide you asked for, plus occasional follow-up emails (practice tips, new lessons, the rare paid course).
• Aggregate analytics — "100 people opened this email this week" type stuff. Never sold, never traded.
• Reply to you if you reply to me. I read every email personally.

What I don't do

• I don't sell your data. Ever.
• I don't share it with advertisers or third-party marketers.
• I don't run remarketing pixels that follow you around the web.

Tools I use

• Resend sends transactional + broadcast emails on my behalf. They see your email address (obviously) — see their privacy policy.
• Vercel hosts the website and logs basic request metadata. See their policy.
• Google Sheets — my personal subscriber list lives here (it's not public, only I can see it).
• GHL + Teachable for the older funnels (quiz, ear training challenge) — their privacy policies apply on those pages.

Unsubscribe

Every email I send has a one-click unsubscribe link. Use it any time and you're off the list — no fuss, no "are you sure" survey, no resubscribing me weeks later. You can also reply with the word "unsubscribe" or email me directly.

Your rights (GDPR / CCPA-style)

Email me at rotem@rotemsivan.com to:

• See what data I have on you (I'll send you the row from my sheet).
• Correct anything that's wrong.
• Delete your data entirely (also auto-happens if you unsubscribe + don't re-opt-in within 12 months).

Children

This site isn't directed at children under 13. If a child has signed up, please email me and I'll delete the record.

Changes

If I update this policy in a way that meaningfully expands what I collect or what I do with it, I'll email everyone on the list before the change takes effect.
